Why we built Piper AI

Publié le 15/04/2026

Most sales teams sit on hours of recorded conversation each week. The notes that survive are skeletal: a stage change, a next-step bullet, three lines copy-pasted from email. The signal lives in the call. The CRM gets a husk.

We built Piper AI because that gap is fixable. Piper AI joins each call, transcribes it, scores it against your playbook, and writes the relevant fields back to Salesforce or HubSpot. No manual logging. No screen-share gymnastics. The rep ends the call and moves on.

What changes when the CRM is true

Pipeline meetings get faster because the data is fresh. Forecasts tighten because every deal carries the actual conversation, not a rep's optimistic summary. Onboarding gets shorter because new hires can listen to real winning calls and see exactly which signals Piper AI flagged.

Coaching changes too. Managers stop reviewing call lists in the abstract and start reviewing the moments that matter: the objection that wasn't handled, the discovery question that didn't land, the competitor mention that went unanswered.

How we think about scope

Piper AI is not another note-taker. The category is full. We focus on the writeback: which fields to update, when to update them, and how to keep the rep in control. The rest of the experience (UI, dashboards, in-app coaching) exists in service of that core loop.

We're shipping it incrementally. The first cut is Salesforce and HubSpot writeback for sales calls, with role-aware benefit views for sales, marketing, ops, and PM. More agents, more surfaces, and tighter integration with the rest of the revenue stack are on the roadmap.
